Established in 1997, Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET) is a national research institute affiliated with the Prime Minister’s Office in Republic of Korea. KRIVET has been conducting policy research and development in the field of education and employment, including Specialized high school, Meister high school and vocational college policies, employment expansion, reducing skills mismatch, development of National Competency Standards based curriculum, Work-Study Dual program and national qualification framework, evaluation of training programs, and provision of career information.
